About Steve Ross
Steve Ross, Ph.D – Wisdom of the Ages Library
Wisdom Librarian, Researcher, Author, and Guardian of Overlooked Knowledge
Steven A. Ross, Ph.D., is President and CEO of the World Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to gathering, preserving, and sharing knowledge that advances human health, wisdom, and well-being. For more than four decades, he has worked at the intersection of science, philosophy, spirituality, healing, and human potential, building one of the most unusual private research collections in the world.
Often described as a “Wisdom Librarian” and “Guardian of Bypassed Knowledge,” Ross has devoted his life to preserving information that might otherwise be lost to time. His work encompasses thousands of rare books, manuscripts, journals, historical archives, and research materials spanning medicine, philosophy, spirituality, indigenous traditions, dreams, consciousness studies, energy healing, and the history of human thought.
As an international lecturer and consultant, he has presented to medical organizations, universities, scientific conferences, government agencies, and spiritual communities throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. His presentations have explored subjects ranging from complementary medicine and electromagnetic therapies to dreams, philosophy, creativity, consciousness, and the hidden history of healing.
Ross has appeared on numerous television, radio, podcast, and educational programs, sharing insights on figures such as Paracelsus, Pythagoras, Royal Raymond Rife, Manly P. Hall, and other pioneers whose contributions have shaped humanity’s search for truth and healing. His work has been featured in publications, documentaries, and interviews devoted to medicine, spirituality, history, and human development.
He is the author of numerous books exploring dreams, philosophy, healing traditions, symbolism, consciousness, and the meeting place between ancient wisdom and modern understanding. Through his writing, Ross seeks to make profound ideas accessible while encouraging individuals to cultivate greater self-knowledge, compassion, discernment, and inner awakening.
At the heart of his work lies a simple conviction: that wisdom belongs to all people, and that humanity’s greatest treasures are often found in the overlooked ideas, forgotten books, neglected discoveries, and quiet voices that remind us of our deeper nature.
His guiding principles are expressed in two phrases that have become hallmarks of his life and work:
“A Beautiful Heart, an Open Mind, and a Humble Spirit.”
“With Love, in Love, and Through Love.”
